On behalf of READY NWI, we would like to congratulate Dr. Peggy Buffington, who will receive the One Region Achievement Award for Outstanding Contribution. The award is presented by One Region, an action oriented group that supports and recognizes organizations and individuals who make significant contributions in improving the quality of life in Northwest Indiana.
As Superintendent of the School City of Hobart, Dr. Buffington she has been a tireless proponent of education in all forms. She encourages creative thought as well as logical thinking so that youth in our community will experience excitement, curiosity, and the love of learning, while better preparing them for life after high school in our One Region. Her involvement on the READY NWI Governing Board and Core Planning Team, is helping to set today’s standard of excellence for our region’s education platform. Dr. Buffington holds multiple degrees from Purdue University and has received numerous professional career honors.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Buffington on this outstanding achievement, at the One Region Annual Luncheon and Awards event at the Radisson Star Plaza on September 25th at 11:30 am.
